New Operating Systems

The four major functions of an operating system are:
  • Managing programs
  • Managing Memory
  • Handling input and output
  • User Interface
When applied to societal operating systems it could look like this:
Managing programs = beliefs
Managing Memory = perspective
Handling input and output = decision making
User Interface = validation
What could be the overarching principles?
Operating Systems
Connection Age
Economic
Enough for all
Social
Responsibility
Environmental
Limited lifeline
Collectively we need to design those new operating systems, and we have to make sure that they strengthen each other.
Any citizen can contribute to this work. The main requirement is that you care and are open-minded.
